Memorial Foundation Board of Directors Vacancies
Six (6) positions will be open for the Memorial Foundation Board of
Directors election in November. The vacancies include three (3) At-Large
positions, one (1) Maintenance position, one (1) Construction position and
one (1) Ferries position.
Board members are expected to attend quarterly evening board meetings
in Olympia. The Foundation is looking for board members who are willing
to be significantly involved including fund raising and donation solicitation,
event set up, and volunteering at events. Board members are also
expected to participate in several Memorial Foundation sponsored events
throughout the year. All interested persons meeting the criteria are
encouraged to participate. The term is from December 2016 to December 2018.
To be eligible to run for election, you must be a contributing member ($10 per month or the yearly equivalent) for a period of one year prior to the election.
Submit your name in writing by October 7, 2016, with a brief narrative (less than 75 words) of why you would like to be a director. The narrative will appear on the ballot.
